NBC has cancelled gambling drama series Las Vegas after five seasons, leaving last Friday’s cliffhanger as the series finale:
Sources confirm to me exclusively that NBC has opted not to renew the show for a sixth season. Consequently, last Friday’s episode? Yep, that was the series finale. Hope it was satisfying!
NBC had hoped this season’s cast shake-up — Thomas Magnum replacing Sonny Corleone — might re-energize the show, but instead, it led to a double-digit ratings decline. Of course, the Friday time slot didn’t help.
Ah, NBC wasn’t ready to gamble (pun intended) on another season of Las Vegas and executives at the fourth place network continue to prove that they belong at the bottom by disappointing loyal fans with their abrupt decision.

This does suck that Vegas was cancelled. Does NBC ever listen to the people who watch there channel? And then not to even say anything about it I heard about it from the O’Reily show guy. So loyal fans are crap NBC is that it. Do you guys know anything about programs at all? Yeah yeah ratings and money!!!!!! Ask the people let us vote highest voted to stay on stays on. Simple
I watched this show thru all the day change every season. How dare they cancel the show and not finish the storyline. I did miss Ed as the manager of the show.
cancel friday night light not las vegas it gives me some excitement in stressful week. I absulutly look forward to Fridays because of Las Vegas show. What can we do as a devoted viewer???
I dont recall the show ever really being promoted after Tom Selleck’s arrival. However, the show got much better and I was a new fan. My wife and I were disappointed when we heard of the cancellation.
I don’t understand networks. I mean really! After five seasons don’t you think that the viewers at least deserve an impecable ending. Why leave us wondering if your not going to continue the show? How hard would it have been to give us an ending?
This was one of mine and my husband’s favorite series.
