According to trade reports, exec producer Joel Silver, along with what’s left of the Moonlight writing team, will oversee production of the show’s four remaining episodes. If Moonlight gets renewed for a second season, a new show-runner will be sought at that time.
Hopefully CBS will stick with this show because not only was it starting to get really interesting, but it really fits after — and holds the lead-in from — the network’s other supernatural hit Ghost Whisperer.

I really hope that things can be worked out and Moonlight will be around for a long time. It is an interesting show and the best new drama on TV for a long time.
This season that started in Sept. ‘07 was better than any other for a long time and then it just died! We finally had something to watch. What a shame. The viewers are the losers.
Please spare me from game and/or reality TV shows! Help. Is this what TV has come to?
I really miss “Moonlight”.. It was refreshing, and you are correct it fit perfectly after “Ghost Whisperer”. I too hope they can work everything out and bring “Moonlight” back.
Have we not had enough CSI here there and everywhere? and reality show and dance with my mama etc etc why dont they cancel that instead of a good show like Moonlite
moonlite is a great show and I am so sad, I hope that this was a terrible mistake. why is it when a show that was so different and so good have to have troubles. let them work it out, and keep all the original actors. let them know that I am a big fan.
Moonlight was the best show on CBS. To cancel so suddenly and leave the characters plot lines under-developed is just horrible. I Guess CBS just doesn’t need viewers.
CBS seems to be following a pattern by canceling Moonlight, yet another great show! Every time I get really interested in a program they drop it, which frankly is getting very annoying. The other posters are right in the aspect that Moonlight fit perfectly after “Ghost Whisperer”. It would be nice if they would consider bringing it back!
I really wish they would bring back Moonlight and Shark. I agree with the other poster CBS must not care about viewers.

What a shame to cancel Moonlight. I look forward to Friday nights to watch “Ghost Wisperer” and “Moonlight”. If I know that I won’t be home on Friday night, I will set my DVR. Honestly, I wish Moonlight lasted longer than an hour. Why not cancel some reality show in it’s place? Work out the backstage drama with “Moonlight”!
I wish CBS would consider renewing Moonlight- It’s the best Friday night show I’ve seen in quite a while. I love watching Ghost Wisperer, Moonlight and Numbers. Please don’t leave us hanging….

We love to watch “Moonlight” right after Ghost Wisper. The two shows are a perfect Friday night
combination. Without one or the other we’ll
(my husband and myself) will probably rent DVD’s
and watch them instead. Please Please!!!! Don’t cancel the show as we a sick of CSI shows and reality shows which is taking up all of TV. The public needs an alternative on the regular channels or else more and more will watch cable or DVD’s.
